This is a Food Truck Festival to benefit the Autism Center of Nebraska. It will be held at ACN's headquarters at 90th and Q Street in Omaha. Founded in 1920, the award-winning Jewish Press is the Omaha Jewish community's definitive source for local, national and international Jewish news. Original plans for a gala centennial extravaganza in 2020 were scrapped because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now 102 years old, the Jewish Press is planning a belated centennial celebration to be held May 1st of 2022, and they've asked me to entertain!

The gala will be held on the outdoor pool deck (no, the pool will not be open, sorry) of the JCC Goldstein Aquatic Center from 4-7pm, and will feature lots of great kosher food (packaged COVID-safe), drink, music and more. Dressing in your fanciest finery is encouraged.

If you bought tickets for the 2020 Centennial, then you are already registered for this event. If not, tickets will be available online soon. (I'm sorry I don't know yet what the ticket price will be - I'll post that link here as soon as it's available).

I've heard nice things about this place, but this will be my first time actually visiting. The Hop Yard is a microbrew/tasting room nestled in the Platte River Valley just North of Plattsmouth, surrounded by scenic views and fields of hops!

37 Years has been selected to perform at the Narrows River Summer Concert Series in Pottawatamie County IA. The series features a different family-friendly acoustic performance on the first Sunday afternoon of the month from June through September. Admission is free, but a park pass is required to enter the park ($3 per vehicle). Freewill offerings are accepted for the performers. Feel free to bring food and (non-alcoholic) beverages. Children welcome.

Come share food and conversation as we celebrate unity in diversity with our Jewish, Muslim, and Christian neighbors. Sponsored by Omaha's Tri-Faith Initiative, the annual Tri-Faith Picnic will be held on the Tri-Faith Commons at 13130 Faith Plaza, Omaha NE (just South of 132nd & Pacific)
Food, music, kids activities and fun for all ages. Halal burgers and kosher hot dogs will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share (no pork, shellfish or gelatin dishes, thank you). Feel free to bring a picnic blanket if you'd like!
We'll also be collecting peanut butter to donate to the Countryside Community Cupboard Food Pantry, so please bring a jar or two!
The picnic will take place from 5-8pm, I'm not sure what time I'll be starting, but I'll be playing for an hour or so. I think there's another performer scheduled too. I'll update when I have more exact details.
This is a free event and open to all. Come see the Commons, make new friends and enjoy a plateful of hummus, tabouleh, couscous, burgers and hotdogs!

The Omaha Concert for National Monuments is presented in solidarity with Utah Dine' Bike'yah, a Native American-led grassroots nonprofit organization working to promote healing of people and the earth through conservation of cultural lands.

Main Street Farmers Market is held Thursday evenings all Summer on historic West Broadway between 1st and 2nd Streets in Council Bluffs. We're playing Thursday June 26th from 5-8pm. the MAMF will feature over 100 artists from Sept 3 thru 7th at The Waiting Room, PS Collective, Micks, Barley Street Tavern, the Foundry and other venues. I'll be playing at Mia's Bongo Room on the 6th at 7:30, followed by Rusty Scott at 9:00 and Derek Higgins at 10:30. Mia's Bongo Room is located at 6113 Maple Street in Omaha.
